Homelessness, immigration, food security, racial justice - JYLA Fellows Serve as partners in the pursuit of change.

Jubilee Year fellows spend their year partnered with community-minded organizations who can expand their capacity for change making by teaming up with JYLA. More than an internship, fellows are key team members who are empowered with leadership opportunities and given the ability to learn from the experience and passion of their service site while having chances to create, innovate, and use their own skills to enhance the work of our partner agencies.

Corps members walk away from their year of service having gained professional skills that will help them succeed in whatever endeavors they tackle next.

Over its 30 year history, JYLA has established connections with dozens of Los Angeles’ most creative and effective non-profits and public-spirited organizations. From politics and protests to food distribution and immigration support, interfaith and spiritual engagement work, fellows can dig deep and get their hands dirty! JYLA works hard to select only highly motivated, committed, intelligent, compassionate young people to serve alongside our valued partners. With supervision and a clear purpose, Jubilee Year fellows have the opportunity to be invaluable assets in the effort to care for those in need and transform Los Angeles for the better.
